Board of Directors

Members of the Bruce J. Heim Foundation Board are family and friends of the Foundation's founder, Mr. Bruce J. Heim.

Board Members Are:

James Cunningham
In his twenty-one year Wall Street career, Jim Cunningham enjoyed a close personal and business relationship with Bruce J. Heim. He is married to Jill and together they have two sons, Scott and Devon.

Thomas Hutton
Tom Hutton served as friend, attorney and business colleague of Bruce for many years. They served together on the boards of several public companies. Mr. Heim also worked closely with Mr. Hutton’s father, the late Mr. Ed Hutton. Tom is married to Betsy and together they have three children.

Barbara H. Pailet
Ms. Pailet is a graduate of Tulane University where she received her B.A. Degree Cum Laude with a major in English. Her professional career includes teaching, real estate, office administration and over 30 years in non-profit management. Barbara was Bruce’s sister. She is married to Kenneth, has two children and two grandchildren.

Carrie Pailet Kanter, JD, MSW, LCSW
Ms. Pailet was Bruce J. Heim’s niece. She is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin where she received her B.A. degree with majors in Psychology and Sociology. Ms. Pailet also has her MSW degree from Tulane University’s School of Social Work and her JD degree from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law. Her professional career includes hospital-based social work with a focus on gerontology and the practice of law.

Sasha Pailet Koff, PMP, MBA, CPA
Ms. Pailet Koff was Bruce J. Heim’s niece. She holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from The George Washington University and an MBA from Columbia University. She currently serves in a leadership capacity at a large medical, device and diagnostic company in the New Jersey area. Prior professional roles include management consulting and marketing for the federal government and specialty chemical arenas. Sasha is married to Dr. Matthew Koff and has two children, Leah and Ian.

The Board acknowledges with gratitude the vast contributions made by former members of the Board, the late Bruce J. Heim, his mother, the late Nettie Heim, and Daniel Mullay.
